Build a consistent organisation evidence pack while respecting each provider’s country and mission requirements.
Use this checklist to plan. Ticks are not saved and do not submit an application or determine eligibility. Keep organisation documents in your authorised private workspace.
Use the country’s applicable recognition or exemption evidence. For Kenya, check current PBORA requirements and NGO-to-PBO transition records where applicable. Each provider validates the evidence under its own rules.
Official Kenya transition guidance ↗Use education-specific eligibility and licensing pathways. A nonprofit legal form alone does not establish eligibility for a provider’s nonprofit programme.
Education & nonprofit services →Review the provider’s exclusions and any separate eligible charitable arm. Ask for an assessment when the correct category is unclear.
Request pathway assessment →Use private document references in your service request. Do not enter passwords, API keys, beneficiary lists, identity scans, medical records or unnecessary personal data in free-text fields. An authorised representative should review any external submission and the provider’s terms.
Registration, legal compliance, tax treatment and programme eligibility are separate checks. Use the responsible regulator or professional adviser for legal and tax decisions.
